Working here
Wet, cold, loud in winter — and genuinely good work.
We are not going to pretend a wash bay in Graz in February is comfortable. What we can promise is that it is organised: the rota is fixed, the kit is decent, the chemistry is dosed for you and nobody is asked to hit a throughput number by skipping the pre-soak.
Glanzze has grown from one site on the Handelskai in 2012 to eleven across Austria, and almost all of that growth has been staffed by promoting from inside. Our head of detailing started as a Saturday wash bay assistant in Linz.
Crews are small — between six and eleven people per site — so you will know everyone you work with. Site supervisors run their own rotas and their own water-plant checks; the head office in Vienna handles payroll, chemistry supply and the things that should not be your problem.
German is needed for anything customer-facing. On the wash lanes and in the detailing bays, English is fine — much of our seasonal crew arrives from Serbia, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Georgia and Ukraine. Where a role is marked as open to non-EU applicants, Glanzze files and pays for the Austrian seasonal work permit and helps with registration and housing on arrival.
